Shantiniketan, West Bengal

Shantiniketan in West Bengal is an international University founded by Rabindranath Tagore, famous poet and composer, near Kolkata (Calcutta). Shantiniketan means Adobe of peace.

At first, it was known as an Ashram started in 1863 by Maharishi Devendranath Tagore, father of Rabindranath Tagore. In this video you can see the main gate of Shantiniketan, where the buildings are seen which has a great historical importance.
