Nehru Children’s Museum at Kolkata

The Nehru Children’s Museum, situated at the heart of Kolkata city is obviously a great gift to the children of Kolkata as well as India. This museum has been developed and inspired by a visionary statesman – Late Sri Jugal Srimal.

His concept or vision was that the ‘Play Way’ method of education is the best way of imparting knowledge to the children where they have fun by way of learning through toys and games, as it is much more enjoyable and acceptable to children rather than classroom studies.

The museum is dedicated to the late Prime Minister of India - Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru or Chacha Nehru.
