Visitors in Mother Teresa’s home at Kolkata
Mother Teresa internationally famed as humanitarian and the founder of Missionaries of Charity in Kolkata (Calcutta) in India. She was a Roman Catholic nun with Indian Citizenship and she has been dedicated her whole life in the services of poor, sick and the orphaned. She won Nobel Prize for Peace in 1979 and India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna in 1980. She has been beatified by Pope John Paul II and given the title ‘Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta’.
