Millennium Park and the Hooghly River, Kolkata

Millennium Park, a new park situated on the eastern banks of Hooghly River in Kolkata, West Bengal state, India. The park offers landscaped gardens and amusement rides for people of all ages. This park is a millennium gift for the public from Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA/CMDA) inaugurated on 26th December 1999.

The Hooghly River is the distributary of the Ganges River flows in West Bengal state, India. From Millennium Park the visitors can enjoy the beautiful sight of Hooghly birdge and the beauty of free flowing Hooghly.
