Zoological Garden, Calcutta

Zoological Garden, located at the heart of Kolkata spreads over nearly 100 acres was established in the year 1875. This zoo comprises several animals, birds and even rare species. It has a large collection of birds and mammals, and an enclosure for reptiles, including a tortoise that is much older than the zoo itself.
