Bally Bridge, West Bengal
Bally is a municipal city in Howrah District in West Bengal. Bally is a suburb in Kolkata. It is located on the bank of River Hooghly and is across the river from Dakshineswar Kali Temple and Belur Math.
This town has a great historical importance. The town is connected to northern bank of Ganges (River Ganga) by the Bally Bridge. Today this bridge is known as Vivekananda Setu. Most of the people who reside in Bally area travel through this bridge to reach Kolkata.
