Prayag Ghat, Varanasi
Next to the Dashashwamedh Ghat in the sacred city of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh state of India, locates the Prayag Ghat which is considered to be the most important ghats in Varanasi. Prayag Ghat is mostly crowded with the overflow of people to perform daily rituals especially during early mornings and evenings.
Constructed by Balaji Bajirao in 1778, this ghat replicates the Prayag holy city in Allahabad. There is a yellow-brown colored Hindu shrine at the ghat.
