All Saints Cathedral or Patthar Girija at Allahabad
The All Saints Cathedral at Allahabad built in the 19th century in Gothic style architecture that flourished during the high and the late medieval period is located in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India. The church was designed by Sir William Emerson, a renowned architect who also designed the Victoria Memorial in Kolkata.
The walls of the church are studded with exceptionally stained-glass murals, which make this a perfect centre of devotion to visit. One of the most attracting works in this church is the marble altar.
The cathedral is also known as Patthar Girija as it is one of the finest examples of stone works. One of the popular places of worship in Allahabad, the cathedral is dedicated to all those who have deep faith in God.
