Khas Mahal, inside the Agra fort
Khas Mahal, the beautiful palace made of white marble had been once used as the drawing and reastng room of the mughal emperor, Shah Jehan. It was used as a ‘Harem’ by the ladies of the Royal Family and is also known as ‘Aram Gah’. The structure demonstrates the distinctive Islamic Persian features such as the inlay work.
Agra Fort, one of the popular travel destinations in Agra city, was built by the Mughal emperor Akbar the Great. Agra Fort is one of the World Heritage sites listed by UNESCO.
