Bhajan at Triveni Sangam

The confluence of three rivers, Triveni Sangam is a sacred destination for Hindus as they believe it to be the place to wash off their sins they have done in this life. A religiously significant spot, Prayag is one such Triveni Sangam where Kumba Mela, a historic event of Hindus is held every 12 years. Daily rituals are performed here along with bhajans or chanting of mantras by several groups to seek the blessings of the almighty. Shown here is a group of people chanting mantras at Prayag.
