Ganga Devi Temple at Gangotri

The glistening white structure of the Gangotri Temple at Uttarakhand and the surrounding temple floor contrasts well with the reddish-brown mountain slopes and the surrounding dark green vegetation. The temple can also be reached from the right bank of the Ganga, which during morning hours witness devotees offering prayers, undergoing rituals and taking a dip to get rid of their sins.
