Dung Beetle, also known as scarab beetle mostly feed on dung or faeces. In this video you can see a dung beetle rolling dung ball with all its strength. This is a scene from Rajaji National Park near Haridwar state, Uttarakhand state of India.
Dung beetles belong to the superfamily Scarabaeoidea and kingdom Animalia. They usually roll dung into spherical balls and use them as a food source. These species are mostly found in desert, farmland forest and grasslands.
Dung beetles, by consuming dung improve nutrient recycling and soil structure and thus play an important part in agriculture.
