Chandi Devi Temple in Haridwar, Uttarakhand
Featuring in this video is the Chandi Devi Temple dedicated to Goddess Chandi Devi, which is a popular pilgrim centre in Haridwar, Uttarakhand state of India. This temple is frequented by devotees from around the world. It is located atop the Neel Parvat literally meaning Blue Mountain, in the foothills of the Himalayas.
The temple was erected in the year 1929 by the then King of Kashmir, Suchat Singh. To reach the temple devotees can make use of a ropeway, which offers breathtaking view of the holy city of Haridwar.
