The water palace of Udaipur – Neermahal
Built as a summer resort by Maharaja Birbikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur, Neermahal is a magnificent water palace. Situated in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake, Neermahal in Udaipur is one of the main attractions here in Tripura state, India. The architectural pattern of the lake palace is a mixture of Mughal and Hindu style.
During olden days, Maharajas used to go Neermahal by motor boat from Rajghat. Now a day’s visitor has to catch a boat to reach this beautiful palace complex.
