Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC)

The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) also known as the District Council Bhawan is an autonomous council administering the tribal areas of the Indian state, Tripura. Its assembly is situated in Khumulwng in the state capital, Agartala.

The main objective of this Council is to empower the tribal people to govern themselves and thereby protect their social, economic and cultural interests. The TTAADC was constituted under the Sixthe schedule of the Constitution of India and the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council act was passed in the year 1979.
