Rudrasagar Lake and boating

Rudrasagar Lake at Udaipur is famous for its water palace or Lake Palace, Neermahal, of Tripura. Neermahal, once the summer resort, is built in the middle of this lake.

Locally known as Rudijala, this lake attracts a lot of migratory birds every winter. An annual boat festival is organized in July/August. This lake serves as an ideal spot for water sports and boating.
