Paddy fields, Agartala

Agartala, the capital of the north-eastern state- Tripura is situated on the banks of the Haora River and is located 2 km away from the Bangladesh border. The district flourished with paddy fields is famous for its agriculture.Tripura is land of high hills, hillocks, interspersed with rivers and valleys having moderately warm and humid climate, well distributed annual rainfall. The terrain soil and climate of the State of Tripura are ideally suited for rain-fed Horticulture.
