Bamboo houses at West Tripura

Tripura, a northeastern Indian state is a landlocked hilly state which has a unique tradition in bamboo and cane work. The villages in the state are noted for its beautiful bamboo houses. As bamboo and cane is one of the most important craft in the state, most of the houses in these areas are also built of bamboo.
