Republic Day Celebration of India

This video features the prestigious ceremony on India’s Republic day, held in the capital, New Delhi on January 26th of every year. It is one of India’s most important national events.

On January 26th, 1950, the constitution of India came into existence and this day is celebrated as the Republic Day of India. All the national leaders will be present during this time as it is an important function marked by a parade down the Rajpath in New- Delhi.

The President of India, who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Armed Forces, takes the salute from soldiers.
