Chavakkad Beach - A Paradise for Migratory Birds

Watch the breathtaking visuals around the scenic Chavakkad beach. Flocks of migrating birds strut around the beach in symmetric disorder, happily oblivious to the human presences around them. Siberian Seagull, Eurasian Oystercatcher and other migratory birds claim the seaside as their own. These glorious masters of the skies throng to the beach in large numbers during the months of September to April. The charming sight of them pitter-pattering along the beachside is not one to be missed.

Chavakkad is located in Thrissur district of Kerala state, India and is noted for its beach and fishing
