Wild Mustard
Botanical name - Cleome viscose
Family - Cleomaceae
An annual herbaceous weed of 1-3 feet height. Leaf juice used as dressing on wounds, sores and boils. When mixed with some bland oil it is a rubefacient. Watery paste of seeds with little asafetida is useful for killing head lice. Infusion of seeds used as wash for wounds and sores.
