Tadasana is a basic standing pose in
yoga. Stand erect with the feet close together. Tighten and pull up the kneecaps up. Keep the stomach in and chest forward. Keep your arms with open palms by the side of the thigh. In Tadasana one should feel one’s body weight equally in both feet. Tadasana serves as a standing position for many
asanas.
Standing in the erect pose with the body weight equally distributed in both legs is quite uncommon with most people. Practicing this Tadasana helps you to overcome the deformities and health problems that might be caused due to standing in the wrong position.
