Like Vaishnavism, Shaivism is also a tantra of Hinduism, the Indian religious philosophy. The Shaivas are devoted to the worship of Siva. Their supreme reality is Siva. In the Shaiva – agamas (theological treatises), we find rituals and procedures of worship to release our souls from bondage.
