Havelock Island is one of the 36 inhabited islands in the Union Territory of
Andaman and Nicobar,
India. This island in the Indian Union populated mainly by Bengali settlers contains a number of small villages. Most parts of the island resemble a natural paradise with white sandy beaches, coral reefs, palm trees and lush green forests in the interior and an unpolluted environment.
