A small evergreen tree of about 6m. The hair oil prepared by boiling curry leaves in coconut oil strengthens the hair follicles. For skin allergies leaf poultice is applied as well as taken with turmeric. Poultice of leaves applied over skin eruptions and bruices. Bark and root paste applied over bruises and bite of venomous animals.
