Anjaneyasana

The Anjaneya Pose

Anjaneya means Hanuman, the monkey God of Indian mythology.

Sit in Vajrasana. Rise up on the knees. Bring the right foot flat onto the floor in front of your body. Bring the palms together at the chest in the prayer position. Look straight. Now slide your right heel forward until both legs touch flat full length on the floor. One leg forward and one leg backward. Come back to the former position and repeat the asana with the other leg.
