The popular
Indian drink lassi, a yoghurt drink, originated from
Punjab. It may be either sweet or spicy and is usually had at lunch time.
Ingredients:
200 g of plantain (poovan pazham)
400 ml of fresh curd
A drop of rose water
50 ml of cream
A tsp of almonds-crushed
Sugar to taste
Method :
Blend all the ingredients together in a mixie. Add ice cubes, decorate with the crushed almonds and serve.
