Valluvar Kottam, Chennai

This video showcases the famous Valluvar Kottam in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu state of India. It is one of the most important landmarks in Chennai city and was constructed in the year 1976.

This is a monument which was built to commemorate the great poet and saint in Tamil Nadu, Thiruvalluvar. It was erected in the form of a temple chariot. A life size statue of Thiruvalluvar is also seen in this place.
