Tiger cave at Mahabalipuram, a World Heritage Site
Tiger cave, a beautiful tiger faced rock-cut shrine of goddess Durga at Mahabalipuram. One can also see all around this cave are large lion headed rocks. The group of monuments at Mahabalipuram stands as an outstanding example of Pallava art and architecture. Mahabalipuram or Mammallapuram, UNESCO World Heritage Site is situated on the shores of Bay of Bengal to the south of Chennai, the capital city of the Tamil Nadu state, India.
