Santhome Cathedral Basilica, Chennai

Santhome Cathedral Basilica is a famous church in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu state of India. In this video you can see the church and the surroundings. It was erected by the Portuguese between 14th and 15th century.

This large church was built to commemorate St. Thomas, one of the twelve apostles. After his death, the church was built over his grave. It was renovated often and changed its name to Santhome Basilica Cathedral. The architecture of the church resembles neo Gothic style.
