Pilgrims to Palani Murugan Temple
Palani, known for its hill shrine dedicated to Lord Karthikeya (Murugan), is a city and municipality in Dindigul district, Tamilnadu state of India. Located about 100 km South-east of Coimbatore City and 60 km west of Dindigul, the temple is situated in the foot hills of the Palani Hills.
The name Palani (Pazhani) was derived from two words ‘Pazham’ meaning fruit and ‘nee’ meaning you. Featured in this video are pilgrims on their way to Palani temple.
