Madurai Gandhi Museum, Tamilnadu
This video shows the Gandhi Museum in Madurai town, dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Indian Nation. It is a major tourist destination in Madurai. The museum building was the former Tamukkam Palace of Rani Mangammal of Naick dynasty, built about 1670 A.D. It was later gifted by the Tamilnadu State Government, to the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi for erecting a memorial.
The interior of the museum is embellished with beautiful artworks and paintings.
