Krishna Mandapa at Mahabalipuram(Mamallapuram) in Tamil Nadu
It is the Krishna Mandapa located to the south of Arjuna’s penance at the monuments in Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram is known for the marvelous monuments, sculptural panels, caves, monolithic rathas and sculptural temples made in Pallava art.
The Krishna Mandapam is the biggest among the Mandapams and is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The Krishna Mandapam, there is a sculpture on the rock face of one wall - Lord Krishna as the protector of all living beings, presenting man, bird and beast.
