Kandal forest, Tamilnadu

This video shows a Kandal or Mangrove forest located in Tamilnadu state of India. This place is situated a couple of 100 kms away from Chennai city. As you see in the video this is a beautiful place and the major attraction is the boating between the forests.

You will feel yourself in another world when you reach this place. Various species of birds are seen in this Kandal forest. Different shrubs and trees which are hardly found can also be seen in the mangrove thicket. This region is a perfect example for ecotourism.
