Temple corridor in Rameshwaram, Tamilnadu
This video features the corridor, noted for its outstanding architecture in the Rameshwaram Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Tamilnadu State of India. This corridor in the temple with over 4000 pillars is considered as the largest in India. The temple covers an area of 15 acres and has high gopurams (pagodas).
The presiding deity of the temple is the Linga of Sri Ranganatha, which is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. It is a nice experience to walk through the corridor. Being a holy place, devotees from around the world visit this temple to offer their prayers.
