The car festival at Suchindram, Kanyakumari
The car festival at Suchindram Sthanumalayan Temple attracts large number of crowds from different parts of Kanyakumari in the month of January. The Sthanumalayan Temple is of importance to both Shaivaites and Vaishnavite Sects of Hinduism. The devotees every year drew the three cars or chariots of Lord Ganesa, Swamy and Amman.
