Bhima ratha at Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu
It is the Bhima ratha, with a roof shaped like the hood of a country-wagon. Bhima, the mythological character in Mahabharata and is the second one among the five brothers, Pandavas.
Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram is known for the marvellous monuments sculptural panels, caves, monolithic rathas and sculptural temples made in Pallava art. Mahabalipuram, a World Heritage Site, is situated on the Coromandal coast to the south of Chennai in Tamil Nadu state, India.
