Sivalaya Ottam at Theempilankudi Mahadevar Temple, Kanyakumari

It is believed that the Theempilankudi Mahadevar Temple at Ponmanai, was built by the Chola and Pandya kings. It is one among the 12 Siva temples in Vilavancode and Kalkulam taluks of Kanyakumari district participating in the Sivalaya Ottam ritual.
