Sculptured panels of Varaha temple
The video shows the sculptured panels of the Varaha cave temple at Mahabalipuram. This rock-cut cave temple falls in the group of monuments declared as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.
The temple architecture is a fine testimony to the Pallava art. The entrance to the shrine is flanked by two guardian figures and on portrayed on the sidewalls are Lord Vishnu and his incarnation Lord Varaha lifting Bhumidevi, the Earth Goddess. Mahabalipuram is in the Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu.
