Nandi temple
Video of the Nandi shrine near Brihadeswara temple, Tamil Nadu. Nandi is the mythological bull vehicle of Lord Shiva. Established at the entrance of the temple, this 12 feet high stone image is carved out of a single rock. It is the second largest one in the whole country.
Brihadeeswara temple, built by Raja Raja Chola between AD 985 and 1012 is the finest temple belonging to the Chola architectural legacy. Made of granite, this grand structure is located at Tanjore district, Tamil Nadu. The Vimana or tower of the temple, which is approximately 70 meters is the highest of the sort in the world.
