Tsomgo Lake at Nathula Pass

This video presents the Tsomgo lake, situated 35 km away from Gangtok in Sikkim state of India. This is considered as a holy place as a temple of Lord Shiva is situated beside the lake.

Tourists get struck by its beauty. In winter season the Tsomgo lake covered with snow all around and is a visual treat for the visitors. The water in this lake is derived from the melting snow from the mountains around the lake.

The lake is oval in shape and is considered as a sacred place by the people in the state. You can also find various restaurants and shops selling traditional handicrafts of Sikkim.

On the other side of the lake you can see a pagoda like rest house which is very beautiful. Walking by the side of this lake is a wonderful experience and it makes you feel in another world.
