Himalayan Zoological Park in Gangtok

The only wildlife preservations in north-east India, Himalayan Zoological Park is located across the road opposite to Ganesh Tok in Gangtok, Sikkim.

This high altitude wildlife park is home to Siberian Tiger, Himalayan Black Bear and Barking Deer. Himalayan animals such as snow leopard, red panda, and tibetan wolf are also here. Nearby this one can see the snow leopard breeding centre.
