On the way to Dargah Sharif, Ajmer

Featured in this video is a busy street in Ajmer on the way to famous Dargah Sharif. The street is rushed with shops and street vendors selling street foods. Ajmer, a noted pilgrim centre in Rajasthan, the largest State in India, is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains and is situated 135 kms west from Jaipur.

The place has pilgrim centers for Hindus as well as Muslims. Also known as Ajaymeru, the city was once ruled by Prithviraj Chauhan, a king of the Hindu Chauhan dynasty.
