Spotted Deer in Bharatpur national park, Rajasthan
This video shows a spotted deer in the Bharatpur national park in Rajasthan, India. It is the most common of all deer found in the sub-continent and is very beautiful to see.
You can see white spots on the golden brown coat of the adult deer and hence they are known as spotted deer. The male deer or the stag weighs around 80 kg.
The scientific name of this animal is Cervus Axis. Spotted deer are very introverted and are reticent animals.
