Rashivalays in Jaipur, Rajasthan

The ‘Rashivalays’ at Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, Rajasthan state of India, is used for the direct observation of celestial latitude and longitude. The Zodiac here is divided into twelve parts, each spanning a longitude of 30 degrees. The twelve zodiac signs include Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Among the twelve signs, nine of them are shown here.
