Rama Yantra in Jantar Mantar, Jaipur
Ram Yantra at Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, Rajasthan state of India, is made of circular walls and it is used to measure the altitude and azimuth of celestial objects, including sun and other heavenly bodies. Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Jantar Mantar is one of the largest stone observatories in the world. A World Heritage Site, it is one of the most visited sites by astrologists and scientists.
