Grey Heron in Bharatpur, Rajasthan

This video features the Grey Heron seen in Bharatpur National Park, Rajasthan state of India. It is a usual sight in the Bharatpur Park as it is a shelter for different species of animals.

The scientific name of grey heron is Ardea cinerea and belongs to the family Ardeidae. Grey Heron is a wading bird and is capable of standing 90-100 cm tall. Normally it weighs around 1-2 kg.
