Digamsa Yantra in Jaipur, Rajasthan
One of the renowned observatories of India is located at Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, Rajasthan and shown in this video is Digamsa Yantra, a cylindrical calculation instrument used to determine the azimuth of a celestial object. Built between 1727 and 1734, this observatory is listed among the World Heritage Sites.
