The City Palace of Jaipur, Rajasthan
The City Palace, built by Jaipur Sawai Jai Singh II - the Kachhwaha ruler of Amber, is located in the capital city of Rajasthan. The palace architecture is a blend of Rajput, Islamic and European elements.
The Palace complex consists of different Mahals and each of this structure are adorned with pillars, arches, grills and exquisite inlay works.
There are many splendid small palaces and halls in the complex, such as the Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal and Badal Mahal. There is also a famous temple called the Shri Govind Temple and a museum inside, named the City Palace Museum.
