Ajmer Sharif Shrine, Uroos festival attracts Hindus and Muslims Devotees

The Ajmer Sharif shrine in Rajasthan state, India, attracts thousands of devotees. The Urs festival here falls in July. This year it is also the 96th death anniversary of Khwaja Moin-ud-Din Chishti, a Sufi saint popularly known as Garib Nawaz. The Urs festival is a secular occasion like many others in India with both Hindu and Muslim devotees coming to pray. The masses of devotees come to pray in the firm belief that their wishes will be granted.
